Bends, dates & comparison method

Polyline turns ≥10° in plan mark the two incident edges as a bend section; smaller deflections stay in straight sections. Splines retain their curves. This automatic split is reviewable geometry, not a count of manufactured fittings. Section limits remain provisional for QS.

Dates come from the POINTS* layers of the points forming each source line. ID prefixes such as 1408 / 2208 do not override the 19/08 / 24/08 layer dates.
Multi-day polylines are split into dated runs. A connection to an older surveyed point enters the later day. Intermediate or relayered points inherit their original dated run; identical shared point handles can carry that evidence to an adjoining line on the same feature layer. These inferred attributions are shown in element properties.
Unique nearby points up to 75 mm away can support attribution; residuals are recorded and no geometry is moved. This is an association setting, not a construction tolerance. Lines with no dated anchor remain unassigned.
Two spline / chord alternatives are counted once. Six zero-length parts are excluded.
Automatic coverage uses same-tier XY matching within 0.30 m, direction within 30°, and a 0.03 m ambiguity margin. These are search settings, not acceptance tolerances.
Design is at invert; measured duct lines are at crown. No elevation compliance is inferred. Realistic pipe envelopes are nominal Ø200 mm.
Only official 33 kV design is used; embedded design alternatives, terrain and other services are excluded.

CAD & setting-out

DXF contains 3D polylines and triangulated 3DFACE meshes. Imported curves retain their tessellation. Controller CSV has no header. Generated point IDs describe model positions, not the original survey point identifiers.

GNSS / machine data

Use the verified project grid, height datum and site calibration on your controller. This is an interchange file, not a vendor-specific machine package or calibration file. Source TIN connectivity is preserved. Review the imported surface and control points before machine use.
